It is an amazing place for one day trip from Sylhet. Wonderful & breathtaking place I have ever visited with my family. We visited Sylhet Bisnakandi on 8th January 2017. Bichanakandi falls in the Goainghat Upazila of Sylhet. It’s even more beautiful than Jaflong. The road to Bichanakandi itself is very poor. But Bichanakandi : The unexplored wonder of Sylhet and full of natural beauty with mountain view. Hope you will enjoy Bichanakandi. Bichanakandi is a popular attraction in Sylhet now a days. The view is excellent. Green hills, Clear water lake and round stones. There are some unorganized hotels and shops. Tourism board needs to take steps before the damage is done. If you start early morning you can return by afternoon comfortably. You can buy chocolates and other indian products in a cheaper rate from the local businessman. As I told already that roads are not repaired for years so you can also enjoy free roller coaster on the way to Bichnakandi. The authority should take the communication matters on their account otherwise the tourist will loose their interest for the second visit.

The positive side is when we go out of the Sylhet city heading to our destination, and past beautiful fields and outside nature. We needed some time to figure out some mountains but unfortunate that falls in India. We thought that mountains are very close and we are coming very close and close but as long as our car moves further, mountains moves away from us. :)  Really it was an amazing mountain view from our car. After hectic road journey through Goainghat road, we reached Hadar Paar. From Hadar Paar, the way to Bichanakandi is not fit for cars. We chose the boat at Tk 1000. The water was cool and clean as we meandered our way through. Every curve, every turn was a scenic beauty. We saw a few herds of oxen bathing and groups of kids swimming, some trying to race our boat even. But what’s bound to impress anybody are the enormous mountains. These were the same mountains that we had been seeing since taking the Goainghat Road. The closer you get, the more real they become. It’s like a giant, intricate painting with the minutest of details. We are recording video all the time and capturing picture from our boat.

What you can see over there like Collecting the Rolling Stones, See the natural beauty of Bisanakandi Waterfall, Observe the Colorful Tribal Life, There is scope of boat ride etc. There is no high quality Dine facility in Bisnakandi but some temporary hotels are there to finish the lunch somehow. Walking over the rocks was difficult. We needed to be very careful on this. We could see Indian border and a wooden bridge. Most mind refreshing matter was rocks on the water which comes from Indian waterfall. We got information that this visiting has been discovered recently not more than one year or so.

There are several ways you can reach Bisnakandi, which is located 25 kilometers North of Sylhet City in Gowainghat Upazila. Tourists can use the Sylhet-Guainghat Road via the airport and take a left turn to reach Hadarpar from where a local boat may be hired to arrive at Bisnakandi. Visitors can go to Hadarpar by CNG-run auto-rickshaws, which are available for hire at Amberkhana Point in Sylhet city. We took our personal car that’s why we did not face any big problem but as roads are not up to the mark, communication is the important issue here. Bangladesh tourism board should take care of the communication matter.

I have uploaded our trip video in my YouTube channel Saidur Rahman. You can watch and let me know if you need any more information on this. If you like the video then like, subscribe, comment and share videos of Saidur Rahman.
